  • Removed 800m² of poor-quality turf

  • Excavated 11 new tree pits

  • Stripped planting beds to 350mm depth and replaced with BS standard soil and compost

  • Hand-dug areas within tree root protection zones to safeguard existing trees

Planted

  • 600+ ornamental shrubs

  • 600 native whips for hedging

  • 700m² of wildflower turf to boost biodiversity and attract pollinators

Installed tree irrigation systems

  • Reseeded damaged turf areas

  • Applied bark mulch, whip guards, and decorative gravel edging for definition and improved drainage

Project Challenges

Located next to a SEN school, the project required strict safeguarding, with timed vehicle access and temporary fencing. On a live construction site, we ensured smooth progress through daily coordination with other trades and flexible scheduling. Careful staging and clear communication-maintained site access throughout soil remediation and planting works.
